Last night my friend and I visited our usual spot, a place we normally really enjoy. We ordered our regular drinks — a Moscow Mules — along with the sharing platter we often get. The menu states that no fixed recipe is followed and the chef prepares this dish as they feel appropriate, which is usually fine with us. However, this time the experience was very disappointing. After the first sip of my cocktail, I had to send it back because the glass smelled absolutely terrible. I almost never complain, but the drink was undrinkable because of the odor from the glass. Then our food arrived, and unfortunately it was even worse. The platter felt completely mismatched and poorly put together — hot and cold items mixed in a way that made it seem like random leftovers thrown together. The grilled vegetables were ice cold, while other components were hot. There were strange combinations as well, such as salmon added next to Parma ham and vegetables, and the salmon did not taste fresh at all. Our issue was not that the chef chose a creative combination — it was simply that the dish was inedible. Melted cheese over cold grilled vegetables, bizarre flavor pairings, and overall very poor execution. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was that instead of handling the complaint professionally, the waiter actually sent us into the kitchen to discuss the issue ourselves — something we found extremely inappropriate and unprofessional. We have never experienced anything like that before. We truly appreciate that we were not charged for either the cocktail or the food, and we are grateful for that gesture. However, a little more professionalism and attention to customer feedback would go a long way. We genuinely like this place, which makes this experience even more disappointing.

Nice ambiance and very good food. If you are a big group is better to make a reservation. For 2 or 3 persons youbcan always find a place to sit. Due to the location of the restaurant is kind of impossible to park

Hidden gem in Gorlitz. Very relaxed place with great food and staff. A big thanks to Toby the owner for welcoming us in and putting up with all the noise on our visits.
